The Potter’s Delight, the second of three events, is inspired by the life of Deborah. Topics for this event include; A reminder of Agape and our place in Abba’s heart; Facing the truth and allowing it to replace the lies I’ve believed about me; The orphan heart; Exploring Covenant and its impact in our lives.

Brenda VanWinkle, founder of BlueDoor Ministries will be leading the conference and teaching on Deborah and our identity as women, having hope in the midst of difficult times. We hope you will come and be a part of this wonderful session, even if you have already attended once, fresh new material has been added! Deborah is found in Judges 4 & 5 - Please take time and read Deborah's story before you come. You'll be amazed how it applies to life today!

Heartland Pregnancy Center (HPC) Ottumwa

This fine organization has been meeting the needs of expectant mothers since 1992.  They offer information, encouragement, and items for mother and child.  Use your imagination.  These suggestions are just to get the creative ideas going.  Thank you all so much!

If you sew!
HPC can use anything sewn for babies:  diaper bags, sleepers, blankets, and many other items.

They can use children's clothing up through size 6X.  (See note below on pajamas.)

They can also use maternity tops (not dresses).  They request that styles be modern.  I have newly purchased maternity patterns available for people to use for tops.

If you knit and/or crochet!
They can use baby booties and blankets.  They can use sweaters for babies through young children.

They would probably love to receive light afghans.

If you like to shop for a bargain!

They can use pajamas for infants through size 6X.  Pajamas are better purchased than sewn because that way you know the fabric is fire retardant.

Any clothing item, shoes and boots and flip flops, underwear, age appropriate toy or stuffed animal is fine.

You may leave your items in the big box at the back of the Sanctuary!!
