Working Together to do

God's Work!

As Pastor, my main goal is to make sure you know that the God who created the universe and everything in it also intentionally created YOU! I love preaching, playing and singing music with people, discussing life over coffee, and helping people grow in their understanding of how beautiful the Bible is and how much Jesus loves them.  Please feel free to reach out to me!

As Media Coordinator, it is my goal to provide a creative, professional atmosphere while providing all digital media needs for Word of Life's Sunday Morning Worship Services, Mid Week Services, Weddings, and Funerals.

As Office Manager, please reach out and contact me for more information about Word of Life Lutheran church.  I can help connect you the appropriate group or team leader to best meet your needs.

We celebrate the main tenets of Luther's Reformation of the church in that salvation comes through faith alone, not by works and is available to all by the redeeming work of Jesus Christ.  We joyfully hold up the Bible as the inspired Word of God without error and purely dependable in matters of faith and salvation.

We do not pick and choose which parts of the Bible we accept, but we wrestle with Scripture to understand its meaning in this time and culture.  We a passionate in our love and devotion for our Savior.

We do not worship a generic "God" but worship the Triune God who is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We recognize God the Son to be Jesus, who is fully human and fully God the one who shed His blood for the freedom from sin, death, and the devil.

Praising, thanking, repenting, listening, interceding we communicate with the Lord on behalf of ourselves, our community, our city, and the world.  We exist as a congregation to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, thus calling God's elect on to himself. (John15:16 ), through love and service to our neighbors to better the community.

Our lives, our energy, and our resources are spent in service to the community.  We believe in raising up leaders for the Kingdom of God, passing wisdom on from generation to generation. We function as a place of refuge for the lonely and brokenhearted; refuge for those who have been afflicted by the law, the world, and their sinful flesh, and the devil.

We come to decisions through prayer, consensus, respect, and reciprocal listening.  We recognize that we are all sinners in need of healing and are open to other broken people joining us.  Through confessing our sins and hearing the good news that we are forgiven by God's action and not our own efforts, we receive healing.
